My Chin's (Chinchillas)

These little critters are my chin's...

This is Shamrock, The mom...

She passed a few years ago.

This is Laddie. The dad...

He is 7 1/2 yrs. old.

This is Clover, the baby...

She is 5 1/2 yrs. old.

Chin's can live up to 20 plus years.
I have a hard time telling them apart.
They use to be different sizes,
now they are both fat....
They are very interested in everything.
They are up at night, and sleep through
the day.Most of the time, but not always.
They didn't like the flash on the camera.

They can be on the poutty side
at times.
They love their wheel.This is like the 5th
one since I have had them.
I have had them about 6 yrs.


I just want to sleeeep.....AWWWWWW!
These little guys are natives to Moutains
in South America. They need a
mt. ash dust bath
every day, to keep their fur soft.
I think they may need a bigger pan....
They do love their bath !!
What a fatty...

Cubby loves to watch them take their bath.

Chin's also have a speical diet. Some dried fruits , pellets,

Alfalfa hay.They need

boiled or filtered water.
I enjoy them alot.
