Back in July or August, this is the view I got at 730 am.
Without the spare on the side.
First thing always trig your wheels.
(trig -means wedge something under your wheels)
So if it falls off the jack (and it can) the
trig will help stop the car from rolling.
Even on flat ground. Safety first....
on the wheel. This helps to not knock your car
off the jack. A braker bar helps alot.
Checking that everything is straight,
not leaning , This would be unsafe.
If so,Then stop and re-do it .
If in shorts, a blanket helps the knees.
If in shorts, a blanket helps the knees.
You'll notice a board under my jack, So the jack
doesn't sink into the dirt.
Put your lug nuts in the cap to
your wheel. Easy to find,
and no dirt in your threads.
Tighten all lug nuts, Then slowly,
let the car down.
re-tighen your lug nuts.
to me more than once. I can laugh about it Now...
Mag did really good with the camera.
Look 2 Flats........
It goes into the cig. lighter. This stays in
my van all the time.
I was very lucky I was home , it was day light when this
happened.
This happened again in sept . Different tire, same
flat spare. I was lucky then too.
This is a good thing for everyone to
know how to do.
