This is my goal -- to have cage #2 look like
cage #1. This is the winter look. The plastic
helps with the cold. Rabbits can take the
cold, just not a draft, or heat.
The plastic heats up when the sun hits the cage.
It can be 50-60's in the dead of winter,
under the plastic.
Here we are putting on the wire fronts.
Here we cut the opening in the wire front. You can see the window in the back.
Here is a wire door for the wire front.
Time for the steel roofing. This wasa workout for sure. We need 5 sheets.
And yes I cut it by hand. Not my favorite part. This really worked up a sweat, and it was cool
out. My favorite gloves, with the thumb out.
This was the hardest part of all 5 sheets.
I was determined to win. And I did !
Now the roof goes on. By now 1 battery had died.I bring backup. So battery #2 , and time
is going fast.
It's getting darker, But I need to finish the roof,It was going to rain the next day.
We get spot lights, Yay ! Last piece of steel roofing, and battery #2
dies!!!!!!
We had to give up.
To be continued...........
